Green hydrogen

Renewable energies are now part of our reality, and are essential to achieve a sustainable energy future. The path toward decarbonization to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels has started and it’s full of opportunities.

Hydrogen is the chemical element with the symbol H. It is also the most abundant element in the universe. Hydrogen, a gas, is found on Earth in the greatest quantity as water. But while it’s present in nearly all molecules in living things, like plants, animals and humans, it’s very scarce as a gas on Earth.

Hydrogen as a gas can deliver energy. It has the great advantage compared with other gases that the only waste it produces is water vapor, instead of carbon dioxide or methane which are causing global warming.

But, as we said, hydrogen, as a gas, is very scarce on Earth. The good news is that it can be manufactured.

So, we have an inexhaustible energy carrier that leaves no carbon footprint in the atmosphere when it is produced from clean and renewable energies to avoid any environmental impact.

Do you know what green hydrogen is and how it is manufactured?
